Thank you for reporting this issue. An internal work order, #26703, has been generated and sent to the Parks/Traffic Department to assess and take the necessary action(s) as soon as possible. An update will be posted as information from the crew becomes available.

It's nice that the system is generating a work order. But I reported this so that a traffic officer would be dispatched to prevent any auto accidents and to make it safer for pedestrians to cross Tomesello Way on their way home or shopping that evening. I watched as cars traveling at speed barely missed each other. So I hope that someone did direct traffic that night and the light was fixed the next day. And that the "acknowledgement" is just a computer generated response and that the danger was dealt with earlier.

The traffic light in question falls under the jurisdiction of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation also known as MassDOT. They were notified the same day and have reported that this issue has been addressed and corrected. I believe I used the SeeClickFix because it was after the time that DPW would be closed and thought that someone would see it immediately on this SeeClickFix page. But if I see a similar problem in the future I will call the DPW first.
