the road is really showing wear because all the rainwater is being directed by the slope of the land down from Old Annapolis road onto Dee Jay Drive. A storm drain is on that corner but not on the right side of the corner. It would greatly help if a storm drain was put across from it where the water actually flows.. the road in front of my driveway and down Dee Jay Drive is starting to show significant cracks. Would appreciate it if some work was done this Spring.. If I get a chance I will get you a photo or vidio

This situation still exists. A drain is needed on the SouthWest corner of Dee Jay and Old Annapolis Road. There is a drain across from that area but because of the angle of the way the water flows down Old Annapolis, that drain does not catch the water. The water then floods the bottom of my driveway and during the winter sheets of ice form causing a dangerous condition. Someone should contact me and both of us should look at the site together to make sure everyone really understands the problem. Thank you, MICHAEL P ZIMRING MD, 4126 DEE JAY DR, 410-935-1110
Dear user anonymous-we have not been able to find an issue at this location. As you can see from the pictures, there is no erosion. If you have the ability to take pictures and post them here of the problem, it would help us to greatly understand the problem. I reviewed our records for calls for icy conditions here and we have never had one call. Do you have any additional information you can share? At the top of the picture is Old Annapolis at Dee Jay. The road is pitched to allow water to reach the storm drain inlet to the right and left of this picture. Use the above picture to help with the reference.
Where the driveway meets Dee Jay. Per the resident, he plans to resurface his driveway and perhaps raise the lip of the driveway where it meets the County roadway.
I was able to speak with the resident this morning. This only happens during a heavy downpour of rain. I sent the resident my email and phone contact information so that we can keep an open line of contact in the future. Closing request out at this time as a mutual agreement with the resident who placed the SeeClickFix.
