Description

This pedestrian bridge is the sole access point for wheel chairs/strollers, but when the trains stop directly under the bridge, the pollution from the engine is horrible and it makes the bridge unusable until they move. You can see the effects of the train pollution under the east side of the bridge where they routinely stop... its completely black on that side.

When this happens I will take the Powell street bridge but that's not an option for everyone because that bridge only has stairs.

I think with a little effort they could be aware of this issue and stop the trains so that the engines are not near the walkway.
