Let me give you a example of wild life near Lake Wood Estates such as Boyd Hill Nature Trail. I've investigated more homes in that area and yet have seen anything like this. So what I would advised you to do is to take a good look at it before you comment on something you said yourself you haven't seen.

This is just Chris Matt's girlfriend looking to get even with the woman who is suing him and his brother for producing enough smoke to blanket Pompeii as they sell illegal meat out of their back yard. It has nothing to do with raccoons and possums and everything to do with being vindictive. This is a very lovely front yard with all sorts of plants and herbs, and the bushes help to protect the occupant from the toxic smoke that comes out of the back yard of Ms. Hubbard's boyfriend's house.

Where in the city code does it say to keep lawn and bushes to a minimum? And where in Lakewood's documents does it say that? What's a "minimum lawn"? If you live in Lakewood, you have raccoons and possums, and snakes and coyotes and rabbits and fox and otter. What's different here and how is what's going on in that yard impacting Ms. Hubbard? If you don't like this sort of wild life, live somewhere else. ...oh, wait, you probably already do.

Live in LE. For long time. Out of curiosity drove by this home after Jacquel Hubbard wrote and angry comment. Noticed home across the street had longer grass and a tree close to road that was invasive and dumping a lot of residue into the street and not maintained. Didn't see any house number on many homes. Looks like a false report. Stop wasting taxpayer money. BTW do you live here? If you do, you moved into the wrong area. Marsh bunny meet hawk.

I think the "shield" is a decorative flag - lots of people have them. And the case has been dismissed as an invalid complaint.
