Still waiting for any help on this issue. Dangerous conditions for all pedestrians walking on Old Annapolis, especially if attempting to cross the street.

Is it possible to complete the sidewalk on the eastbound side of old Annapolis road? It currently ends at Woodland rd and begins again shortly before Wellford Dr. Completing this missing 500 ft section would eliminate the need for some pedestrians to cross the road.

Speeding is the norm on this road. Driving at the speed limit entices those inconvenienced to pass, even with a double yellow line and short line of sights. As more and more bus stops are added, this makes for an extremely dangerous situation. There hasn't been any active enforcement of the speed limit in the last five, or maybe even ten years. Calling 410-313-2200 has been fruitless, since no action is ever taken. Since there haven't been any fatalities, there's no need for speed enforcement. It's unfortunate that someone will have to pay a very dear price before the authorities will be motivated to action.

Agree. Have called the traffic division of Ho Co police to no effect. Also called Jon Weinstein's office and the message I received was it is a busy road. It is only a matter of time until a major accident occurs.

Rick, DPW is working on completing the sidewalk segment you mentioned. We are now putting together the needed right-of-way.
