When did the City decide to allow people to plop down storage bins in the yard? At the very least you would think it should be on a hard surface. If you don't know what is being stored , one could assume contamination to enter the ground at the very least.

Thank you for your concern. The storage containers you describe are treated like temporary structures and are allowed for periods up to 6months if they are being used because of moving, building, or remodeling. Building and remodeling require permits that are taken out through Planning and Economic Development. Storage container companies as a rule do not allow permanent use of their containers at peoples residences.

That is what I want to know !!!! Are they compliant !!!! If not then it IS my business..... And Buffalo Wings I have a great life and my space is fine. I know I won't waste anymore time here on this useless city tool... Ordnance Officer my but . Just another waste of money ....

Moving , building or remodeling I think that covers it all Old coot, Why do you care. If they are moving they wont be there for long , building or remodeling than your neighborhood with be nicer. So stop being a busy body

As this issue seems to have become more of a personal attack than the simple issue it started as, I recommend calling the office of code enforcement for direct answers. The number to call is 715-421-8229. It is best to call between 7am and 3:30pm. You may still remain anonymous if you wish.

Thank you for your concerns. At this point I too am waiting for the correct code and abatement wording. I have I have been told that my original plan for abatement was an incorrect application of code 11.14. As soon as I have the correction I will deliver it personally to the resident. It was my error.
