Deskripsyon

There is a sinkhole developing on Park Blvd across from St. James that is about 6" deep and getting deeper. It is likely associated with work that was recently completed in that location and I suspect related to leaking water pipes. It is dangerous due to its location in the street and depth. At a minimum promenant barricades should be erected until it's repaired. Really, take a look, this one is bad.

If this is from contractor work city needs to follow through and have them fix it. someone will get hurt...and on top of everything sue the city

I reported this sink hole 2 weeks ago after blowing 2 tires in it! I drive by it every day and still see the darn hole.. Fix it!

I advise you strongly to sue the city in small claims court. Assemble your damages/receipts, any doctor bills from whiplash, write the city attorney and when they don't answer, sue them.

I'v read about expensive lawsuits that have been won against the City of Oakland for identified, reported potholes that have not been fixed and caused serious injury and death to bicyclists. This is just an accident waiting to happen. Please fix it. At this point Park Blvd is more a series of poorly patched potholes than an actual safe and functional paved road.

Seems like there is some progress with a steel plate over the hole. Let's keep an eye on this. I think the sink hole will be repaired eventually.

There are a number of bad potholes going uphill on Park Blvd from Leimert to Mountain Blvd. It's becoming an obstacle course to drive there.

This still has not been repaired almost four months after listing it. PG&E was on site about a month ago and did some work and left two large steel plates covering the area, but no final fix. Not sure what the problem is but it's taking an absurdly long time to fix.
