Yes. I saw that new deposit yesterday on my way home going across the Ardley Avenue over-crossing. I am going to send pictures of this mess to Mayor Schaaf's multi-million dollar home in the hills as a Christmas greeting.

With zero enforcement from the City of Oakland Public storage would have to have security guards there 24/7. The cost of repainting alone would justify security cameras has this been suggested? The spray vandalism and tagging is at an epidemic level in the city along with illegal dumping and the campers. If the city put a big enough bounty out for them they would rat each other out.

I asked the Diectior of Planning and Building, Rachael Flynn, who b headsup Code Enforcement, to communicate with Public Storage and suggest that they install outdoor security cameras. I made this request 8 to 9 months ago. Ms. Flynn did nothing. It's up to the citizenry to contact the owners, Connecticut Storage Fund in Glendale CA, and ask them to install these night vision cameras. It is a fact that since I made my complaint to Code Enforcement in November 2013, this building has been free of graffitti FOR 48 HOURS!
