Has the Town of Grafton done a recent traffic study at this intersection? During the past 5 - 10 years, the rate and type of traffic flow has changed considerably - in a negative sense....for example - speed on Deernolm Street is easily approaching 50 miles per hour in both directions, and the construction traffic coming through this area is very frequent. Close calls have multiplied exponentially - I can personally attest to that!!! I think it is time to re-think the distinct possibility of putting in traffic controls (overhead signals, designated crosswalks with pole signal prompts, etc..) Please advise, and thank you for allowing me to comment on this area. Respectfully yours, JRD.

Below is a link to the minutes from the meeting. After reviewing the accident data and traffic reports, there was no action recommended for the following intersections: Brigham Hill/Deenolm, Deernolm/Worcester Street, and Brigham Hill/Worcester Street. The Highway Superintendent will trim brush and paint lines at his discretion to improve potential safety concerns.
