Description

TL;DR: Sewer gas leak in the Rogerson Rd area (much worse than normal)

Around 9 last night, our house started to smell like a @#$%. We'd had a fairly innocuous dinner of frozen pizza (it's been a long week, ok?), so it was unlikely to have come from us, and the puppy didn't seem to be feeling unwell enough to have generated so much stank on his own. All the toilets were flushed (you never know) and nothing appeared to be leaking. So we tried to put it out of mind.
Then, when we let the dog out this morning, OMG the outside was a giant blast of @#$%. We masked up and checked our sewer clean-out--it's all good, as are our immediate neighbors'. It's just STANK, in the air. Everywhere. Rogerson often has a certain aroma about it, especially when the weather changes, but this...this is far, far worse than normal.

I feel for whoever has to come out and investigate. It's not pleasant.

Thank you.

ps I've pinned the location at the pumping station at the end of Cleland, but I'm not sure that's the epicenter of the stank.
