The work order has been completed. The sewer line was CCTV and cameras, there are no defects in the pipe causing a depression from sewer. Sending to SPTO for review.
Will this dip and cracking in the pavement be fixed? If you are walking at night and don't see that dip a person could twist their ankle and fall causing injury.
This work order #240000011602 was created and work has been completed. We have sent a restoration to our pavement team. Work order 240000012540. Thank you!
An exact cause was not pinpointed however the sewer lines were inspected in November to ensure there were no leaks that could cause a future depression. The street subsurface around the sewer line has been compacted to attempt to prevent any further depressions, and the affected curb/asphalt will be restored in the near future. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and helping keep the city of St. Pete safe and beautiful.
