  I also live in the area and routinely see cars in this bicycle/pedestrian only area. There needs to be better barriers to prevent car access both by the stop sign and at the street curve

  Here is another example of a car driving on the bike lanes that lead to the Seaplane Ferry Terminal. The City of Alameda needs to install a barrier to entry and signage at the intersection of Ferry Point and W. Atlantic Ave between the public restrooms and the abandoned building that indicates no motorized vehicles are allowed!

  More cars entering the bicycle/pedestrian only area on the path to Seaplane Ferry Terminal. There is no barrier or signage on the south side of the abandoned building at 1886 Ferry Point to indicate that cars aren't allowed.

  Thanks again for your request. New concrete barriers have been added along Ferry Point near the West Atlantic Ave intersection and on the south side of 1886 Ferry Point. Hopefully this should help with drivers encroaching into the bike and pedestrian paths.
