I reported this several months ago and it was immediately "resolved." I complained about the quick resolved status so a truck went out and dumped some asphalt at the tail of a driveway or two.

Nothing irritates car drivers more than bikes not using bike lanes and this is a classic example of a bike lane that can't be used - too dangerous.

Cars find pedestrians more irritating. Let's not forget the 'red runner' at State St. and Washington (Olga's, now a bar) who was mowed down there at rush hour. I saw her body there. I've only been hit by cars in Ann Arbor 3 times on Bicycle. But as a pedestrian I've had to hustle out of the path of cars at the cross walk thousands of times.

That said, I completely agree, make the bike lanes work and keep them in good condition. It will save lives.

Agreed. While a car might be able to easily drive this, biking on this kind of terrain is impossible unless you've got some kind of rough-terrain mountain bike. This kind of pavement job would quickly give me a flat, no joke.

S Division St (Packard St to E Huron St) was resurfaced in July of 2017 as part of the City's Annual Street Resurfacing Project. The work involved removing and replacing the entirety of the existing asphalt pavement including the bicycle and parking lanes, in addition to other improvements within the corridor.
