Orange fencing has been added to make the area safe until repairs can be made.

Thank you for the extra photographs. The crew visited the site today and the plan is to place filter fabric in the openings and fill the void with material until Mr. Wolf can secure funding.

Issue 15263346 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue.

Work is still planned for 2023, beginning as early as the end of this month.

As has been previously stated, this is not an easy repair. This location has significant construction challenges that need to be carefully planned out to ensure both a quality product and to minimize the areas disturbed by the work.

We will be in touch with the homeowners with the details when we've completed our due diligence...which I believe to be in the home stretch.

Another sink hole has developed in the same general area as the 4 other sinkholes previously reported (the latest one is documented with Issue ID 15584575). This is now 5 sinkholes that have been reported over the last 12 months in the same general area of connected yards.

According to comments on previously issued Request ID14995980, repairs were supposed to have started by the beginning of September. On Request ID 15263346, this timeline was amended and repairs were to start at the end of September and someone would be in touch with myself and the other impacted homeowners with the details of the permanent solution.

As of today repairs have yet to start and we have not received any updates. Can you please update us on the status of the permament solution?

I'm hopeful that this issue will be fixed before someone gets hurt, especially with all the very young kids running around the yards where the sinkholes are occurring.

This location is firmly scheduled to begin in mid-February and is estimated to complete by the end of May. There will be a few minor pre-construction activities beginning in early February. Additional information will be provided as we get closer to the start of work.

Can you give more details regarding the construction activities/ pre-construction activities? Is there a firm date for these activities to commence?

Due to the amount of precipitation so far this winter we're looking at mid-March. Obviously the weather will dictate the start date.

We'll be in touch in about a month to schedule an on-site explanation of the work which will be occurring in the County's easement.
