The problem here is the group mailbox and the bush both overhang the sidewalk, and they are right across from each other (3-4' apart). This makes it difficult to walk through the sidewalk unless you're right in the middle. Two people cannot both walk through at the same time. Until the mailbox can be moved back from the sidewalk, it could be argued that in this situation, the bush needs to be trimmed back to allow for safe public use of the sidewalk to adhere to county code:
Sec. 18.402. - Maintenance of sidewalks, driveways and sod.
(A) It shall be the duty and obligation of the owner of property abutting a public right-of-way to maintain the abutting sidewalk, driveway apron and sod or grass within the public right-of-way in such condition as to be safe for public use.
