a roundabout was supposed to be installed at this intersection this fall - any updates on the timing of the installation?

This intersection has been an issue for years. The long promised roundabout will help but for now cars are still running the stop sign without even pausing! Work was supposed to begin a year ago. Utilities have been relocated but no road work.

The Howard County Department of Public Works – Bureau of Highways Capital Project T7106 is scheduled to begin roundabout construction at the subject intersection this summer season. The roadway construction is anticipated to be completed over a duration of 8 -10 weeks, weather pending.
