A few weeks ago behind our house on Pilla Terra Ct, a very dead tree toppled over the small stream that runs down to the Middle Patuxent River about a half mile away. It also knocked over another dead tree that was just hanging on the edge of the stream bank. Both fallen trees are now straddling the stream bank but not currently impeding the water flow. As you can see by the photo, this stream and fallen trees are on Howard County property. The stream is a feeder from our Warfield's Range Community stormwater retention pond on Hunters Way. There is no current urgency but this would seem to me to be something that should be taken care eventually of by your periodic maintenance team before it negatively impacts the stream bed.
