Valley Road has been torn up for well over six weeks now as part of a reconstruction project. It should not take this long to tear up old pavement, regrade, install storm drains, and repave. The entire Russell Road project was done in half this time, and included major widening and rock removal. In addition, Valley Road runs through water company property and there are no erosion control measures installed. If the town doesn't get this done - and soon - I intend to send the First Selectman a bill for the damage done to the tires and suspension on my car.

GOOD LUCK ON SEEING THE ""QUEEM. SHE LOCK'S HERSELF IN HER OFFICE
AND SEE NO ONE WITH A PROBLEMS ,
THAT IS A TAXPAPER.
WE TAXPAPER'S HAVE BEEN WAITING THREE YEARS FOR THE " END OF BETHMOUR ROAD "TO BE FIX AND STILL WAIT WHILE OUR TAXES KEEP GOING UP EACH YEAR AND ALSO HER PART TIME JOB PAY!!!!!!!!
WE ALSO HAVE A TOWN JUNK YARD NEXT TO THE SCHOOL AND SHE WILL NOT HELP THE LANDOWNERS WHEN THEY NEED HELP TO GET THE JUNK YARD CLEAN UP,
NOW IS THE TIME TO FORM A THIRD PARTY WHO CARE'S ABOUT BETHANY FOR IN TWO YEARS SHE WILL BE RUNNING FOR HER 6 TERM OF DOING NOTHING FOR THIS TOWN AND OUR SENIOR CITIZENS WHO ARE BEING FORCED TO SELL THEIR HOMES BECAUSE OF THE EVER RISING TAX INCREASE'S, EVERY YEAR OUR PART TIME LEADER WAS ELECTED.
WE NEED A TRUE LEADER WHO WILL CLEAN UP THE JUNK SITES, CUT TAXES,HELP OUR SENIOR CITIZENS WITH TAX BREAKS,FREEZE SPENDING ACROSS THE BOARD,
AND CUT THE FIRST SELECTMAN PAY IN HALF FOR A PART TIME JOB.
LET'S GET THE VOTE OUT NOW FOR A CHANGE IN TWO YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BEFORE IT IS TO LATE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOWN HALL DOOR MUST BE OPEN TO ALL WHO NEED HELP AND NOT THE INSIDERS WHO HIDE BEHIND A " FARM RATING" BUT IN REALITY A BUNINESS FOR PROFIT WITH 18 WHEELER TRUCKS DRIVING ON OUR TOWN ROADS DAY AND NIGHT 7 DAYS A WEEK. THIS MUST STOP AND STOP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roads are falling apart and the " LARGE TRUCK ON BETHMOUR ROAD " has
gotten out of hand for a place that is to be a farm-I think not-
What about the school well water and the land owner well's
will we have a problem in the future because of this BUSINESS ???
Bethany is falling apart and maybe we do need a change-sign me up third party.

I do need help now. Why not freeze our taxes after a 25% cut for us senior's who are
just getting by on our SS.
Tax the Company's who are not really Farm's but Commerical Business's.
and let's clean up our great town from all the junk now.

Send your bill for repair's to Town Hall and maybe just maybe you will get a answer in 2-3 years.
25 years ago this would not happen in Bethany. Now our elected leaders do not care about how our town look's.
@-senior citizen- we senior citizens need to fight back at the voting booth next election-tell your friend's
to vote for a change before we all are taxed to death.
You can not walk down Peck and Bethmour Road without being almost run down by the large trucks coming and going at the bethany junk yard.

I also need help paying my taxes that keep going up every year-WHY.
We used to have elected leaders who help our senior's but not today, all they
think about is their own self and not the senior's who payed taxes all of our lives and now must
sell our homes to eat .
What happen to this great town, why can't we elected people who care?

It is now June and town hall stated the Junk Yard site would be clean up to look country again
and it just sit's, with now a dumping ground for large trees in the airport drive way.
This site should be fined for every day it is a eyesore and the money giving to help your taxes.

It is now the end of June,2011.
Our town hall leaders stated that the Junk Yard Site on the end of Bethmour road would be
cleaned up in June. Well another "LIE " from our so called leaders.
The Junk Site has not been cleaned up and it is now a Dumping ground for large dead trees.
Does our first selectman have no pride in Bethany, this owner does not !!
It is time to stand up for taxpaying land owners who have to live with this mess and get it fix -NOW.
Fine the site owner for every day this mess is not clean up.
Term limit's for Bethany will help get issues done and not sweeped under the rug !!
