Description
Run off from New Sabby Property during and after rainstorm creates a river on sidewalk. During winter it becomes a ice hazard for pedestrians. MOE claims there is no runoff from the property. Visit the property during or after a rainstorm shows a different story. True there is a catch basin at the St. Clair entrance but it is often buried and ineffective. New Sabby hasn't dealt with the issue, the City hasn't dealt with it., Councillor Cesar Palacio won't touch it. Will it take a lawsuit to solve the problem? Probably. The city should enforce this bylaw
Call 311 and report it, the city will give new sabby an opportunity to fix it otherwise the city salts it and charges new sabby for their crews time (steep rates for union labour)
Make the call
