Deskripsyon

Cars parked illegally on curb all along the 700 block of Chadwick. These need to be ticketed and a "No Parking” sign should go up. It is a nuisance for the residents of the block as it backs up traffic.Also makes it dangerous to turn right on Catharine due to parked cars.

My understanding is that PPA's preference is that cars park partially on the curb to make the street more passable. As long as there's a 36" clearance on the sidewalk to allow room for pedestrians, there's nothing illegal about parking there...unless you're talking about the construction vehicles that are entirely on the sidewalk.

there is no clearance.they block the entire sidewalk to people have to go around and walk on the street instead.

Well that stinks! If cars are encouraged to park partially on the curbs and sidewalks, isn't it the homeowner who has to pay for repairs when the concrete gets cracked and broken?
