This parking lot was about 3/4 full just about every week day. There's plenty of parking around this parking lot. Yet the city has decided to destroy this parking lot and turn half of it into a park.

The road noise from a fast-moving Yonge street is extremely unpleasant so I can't see how this will make for a very good park. At the very least, I think parts of the parking lot could have been turned into a park without destroying the entire parking lot. The pavement here was in excellent condition.
