Description
The sidewalks under the Gardiner, particularly the North underpass on Park Lawn south of Queensway has a heavy coat of wet silt and pidgeeon droppings. It has been that way for 2 years. When dry its gross but when it is wet it is dangerous. While walking my dog, i slipped and just caught myself before hitting the sidewalk. It had a thick coating of sludge. Who is in charge of the sidewalks in that area?

Went back as to see how it was progressing. Unfortunately took my dog that had to walk through this horrible underpass. Although the photos aren't the best, there was a dead pidgeon added to the piddgeon poo, etc.
I'll attach the photos and home someone anyone can actually do something. Unfortunately your system is only allowing one photo.

Diseases are more likely to be transferred from pigs and birds to humans than other animals, hence strains of the avian flu. Sitting scum isn't exactly a healthy source of Vitamin E either.
This could also make someone slip. I have torn a ligament on Toronto streets.
Please address this.

Well the pigeons have been controlled but the Gardiner keeps leaking somthing gross out of the wall still. This sidewalk needs occasional wash and sweeping in order for it to be clean.
So its full of grossness, still easy to slip. But wouln't you think that the Gardiner would be worried that the walls will collapse if it is simply mud coming away from behind the walls?
