these cars didn't move during the snow emergency so the plows couldn't plow the bike lane. it'll be very dangerous at night +or any time for cyclists biking on this. the rest of the bike lane on Upper Afton look decent except this spot. And yes, I biked today and take upper Afton going east to go home. I am worried about commute home at this spot.

Q: A parked car was in the way before the plow came, can the plow come back?
A:Yes. Residents should call the 24-hour Street Maintenance hotline at 651-266-9700 to report any section of their street which was not plowed because of an obstructing vehicle. Street Maintenance staff will compile these reports on a “replow” list; once the day and night phases of the Snow Emergency are completed, plows are directed to the areas on the re-plow list. Please note, based on the number and severity of re-plowing requests, some requests may not be addressed until after the expiration of the snow emergency. All locations on the re-plow list are visited eventually.Might be worth calling the replow line?

That is wonderful to know-I had no idea! I'll definitely keep this in mind. I had to complain about this last year and the city did actually make the owners move their car so they could plow this 3-house stretch of road and bike lanes. I really don't want it to come to that, because that took WEEKS and it was unsafe in the meantime (and not great afterwards but better).
