Graffiti-covered, trash-filled news rack with an expired permit on NE corner of 4th and Sibley. Been there for months. Reported multiple times. Please remove from public ROW.
Thank you. Your complaint is being sent to Public Works Right of Way division for review.
Update from Right of Way Inspector Sharon Hamilton:
The abandon news box in this complaint is owned by Apartment Living Guide. Today I contacted responsible party for Apartment Living Guide, and he will issue a work order to remove this box off of the city right-of-way at 20 – 40 East Tenth Street as soon as possible. I will monitor the complaint until news box is removed off the right-of-way.
It looks like you left the same comment with the same address for two different news box complaints. The one in this picture is on the NE corner of 4th and Sibley. Could you verify that both have been reported and will be removed? Thanks!
Yes I did leave the same comment. Both of the news boxes are owned by the same company so it is the same information for both complaints! :)
Graffiti-covered, trash-filled news rack with expired permit on the SW corner of 10th and Cedar.
Thanks for fixing this issue!
