Description
A large, beautiful rooster is strutting nervously at the edge of the park right where Orange Street begins. He let me feed him some grain but was too wary to let me get him into an animal carrier. Any chance of a rescue?

I never said that one should not use this site to let their neighbors know. My post stated the following," it is best to call then post to alert others and to have a record it was called in". The sooner animal control is aware of a loose animal they can sent someone out to investigate and it increases the chances of the animal being found. Wouldn't you want someone to call animal control first if you lost a pet?
