A dead tree has been laying on low hanging wires since that extreme wind storm we had in early March 2017. A call to Clawson PD resulted in the question: "Is it sparking?" NO, it is not sparking. "Well there is no need to worry about it". So, when the people of south Webik lose their cable, phone, or electric, blame the Clawson PD. They were notified weeks ago and took no action. I am not touching it.

INFORMATIONAL- the top wires between poles are the PRIMARY WIRES WHICH IS ALTERNATIVE CURRENT WHICH IS THE HIGHEST VOLTAGE FOR ELECTRICITY,
then the lowest wires are all communicative wires for cable and are very low voltage. There are primary (hot) and secondary (less voltage) lines for electricity and last are the lowest volt for communication purposes. Code will take a look at those on S Batchewana today. Officer Chambers

To Code Enforcement - ALL PUBLIC COMMUNICATION AND ADVICE FROM DTE ENERGY SAYS STAY AWAY FROM DOWNED LINES. If it is low voltage, I've got a metal piece of steel U-Channel. You can come poke at it with the metal and test just how low the voltage is. I'M TAKING THE ADVICE OF DTE ENERGY. It's not my problem to remove downed trees from sagging wires in a public right-of-way.

Well, all who are responsible for maintaining a utility right-of-way should be happy. With the help of a Comcast Tech. I pulled the tree down, and guess what? The ATT wire that services my house came down. That's OK. I don't use ATT service.
