2yrs ago new fire hydrant installed. Large hole left around it. Called city. Blamed Bell! Huh? Bell had no idea what city is talking about. City insists its up to Bell.

If it was me I would put in a request directly with 311 and only talk about the new Fire Hydrant as this is clearly a City problem. If it is on City property so is any repair work needed because of Bell and 311 can also deal with that but usually best not to confuse things!

I looked at it on Google Streetview and there is a utility cut on the sidewalk. Fixing this is a CITY responsibility and I suggest you ask 311 to have it properly fixed (presumably not until 2013). If it is dangerous now they can add more asphalt.
