There is ice in several spots in Mears Park, mostly along the Fifth Street and Sibley Street sides of the park. This has been consistently a problem all winter and needs to be regularly addressed regardless of if it is reported or not.

Mears Park is a popular destination and a waypoint for pedestrians. The frozen snowmelt and snow crust must seem a nightmarish liability for the city of St. Paul. I walk in the park with my dog, and I walk daily past the park to board the green line. I feel I'm back in Eastern Europe in 1990.
