Description
Hello, I am the homeowner for 38 Greenhill Terrace in New Haven. I contacted the city via "SeeClickFix" regarding the two dead trees that are currently standing in the front of my house. I contacted the city back in April expressing my concern for our safety, as the trees look as though they are bearing dead branches that could possibly fall on someone or get tangled in the electrical wires. On August 12th the department of Parks & Recreation attached a sign saying that the trees would be removed after 10 days of the posting of the sign, which would be today (August 22nd). Today at approximately 4PM, a branch from one of those trees broke off and hit my parked car. I have several pictures of the damage and the tree attached below. I am going to need someone to contact me as soon as possible regarding the damage to my car, as well as your plans to remove the dead trees before someone is hurt.
Thank you for your immediate attention!
