Taking a photo of the sign and sending it to your District Manager with your 'concern' might be a better way to handle this issue .. although I don't think it is illegal and it's probably the home owners attempt to keep his property safe. And I do believe NHPD and some of the District Managers are signed up to receive notices from SeeClickFix (see the list of 'Who's Watchers').

So, what is your problem? First, it is not an assault rifle, you might attempt to learn what you are talking about. I'm pretty sure that there are still a few rights left for the citizens in this country. And if this puts you in so much fear, the smart move might be to stay away from this persons property. Your problem is solved. Get a life.

I'm not a code-enforcement officer and don't know what the zoning is for that address re signs, so I personally don't have a problem with this. I just thought I'd provide the relevant link to show that if there IS a problem, it's not relevant to policing. It's relevant to zoning code enforcement.

I live in this neighborhood and have seen the picture, but it doesn't look offensive to me. In my opinion the owner is justified for posting this sign because several people in this area have been victims of car break-ins and thefts. These signs can act as a peaceful deterrent for potential robbers. Any action to defend ones property is justified to me.
