  With the spring upon us, illegal postings on bus shelters and elsewhere are increasing. Everyday it seems , new violators , seem to think they have discovered access to free advertising courtesy of the city, while no one else has thought off before !, ignoring the many other people who use their brains, and reason, that if such acts were legal, we wouldn't be able see outside the bus shelters, with the amount of businesses that would be posting, not to mention the shabby appearance of the city created by these illegal signs...Bylaw please stepup enforcement..Another growing problem is the real estate agents ,with no respect for our neighbourhoods, posting, not one 'open house' sign in a particular neighbourhoods, but have now taken to posting multiple signs, only removing a few after the weekend open house.
  This is especially pervasive amongt so called new Canadians

  "Closed" likely means the site has been inspected by the transportation department and a work order has been issued for the removal of the graffiti. I agree that "closed" ought to mean the problem has been remedied, but for whatever reason that's not how it works.
