Description

Pike international (841chapel st) has dumped their garbage in the city bin. When the cleaning gals left it in front of the building I told them it would have to be picked up. The bags were open already oozing left over food and garbage. I also put a call into pike. This is their response. Dump it on the city property. Come on pike be responsible citizens if you want to own half of the city clean up your act

They actually do this at a lot of their properties throughout the city. They have overflowing dumpsters, trash bags sitting on tree belts, etc. When I see it again I will get a picture and report it here. Completely agree that they are a huge property owner across the city that needs to do much better in keeping up the basic maintenance on their sites.

I put garbage back on their door step yesterday and it's back in city cans today. This looks like a bad game I'm about to play

We are closing older 2014-2016 Illegal Dumping Issues found on Public Spaces (roads, tree belts, sidewalks) in order to focus on current Issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our Streets Division but were never closed. Others involved an interdepartmental solution.
