I know that time needs to be left for turning cars but when I was waiting there were no (or very few) cars attempting to turn. And generally traffic is allowed to complete their turns BEFORE pedestrians start not AFTER.
This is still a problem and is causing confusion with pedestrians thinking it is OK to cross while the traffic light is still green but pedestrian light is stop. Shouldn't it be the other way around.
I don't think I described this clearly earlier. My concern is with the opposing traffic lights. Pedestrians usually expect that the walk sign to come on shortly after the opposing light turns red. That wasn't happening. But it appears to work properly now.
