Thanks for the update and the obvious work on the boat ramp. However, the pooling of water on the concrete path is still a problem and it doesn't appear that anything has been done, over there. We have to walk around it, it gets so deep, and the grass around it is like a marsh, as well. Not sure HOW it can be fixed (again, it seems like this should be the contractor's problem, and not the city's), but at least some drainage of some sort?

This is still a problem. The path is always blocked, after even slight rain, and the field around the flooding is also flooded, so your feet get wet if you want to walk the entire path. I don't mean damp - I mean you'll get wet through to your socks, sometimes, if you try to either walk through the puddle OR around it.

Sill a problem, I'm afraid! The flooded path happens every time we get any significant rain, and the canoe ramp, despite a big pile of mud being plowed off it, is still just a ramp-of-mud, right now.

Path still floods with not much rain. I realize that this is a floodplain, and I realize that it's been a wet winter -- but I don't understand why, since this is a new park, the contractor isn't being held accountable for this flaw in the design! (Raise it, put drainage under.) The path is, at times, impassable to walkers, unless we are wearing boots. I don't know where the money for this park came from (grants? taxes?) but, if taxpayer money, the contractor should fix this!

Canoe launch seems to still fill with mud, as well. I don't personally use it, but I'm not sure why boaters aren't complaining.

Folks, this issue doesn't seem to have been addressed AT ALL, but the system keeps prompting me to close it, if possible. I am pretty concerned that the new trail (across the bridge), if installed by the same contractor, will have the same issues. Please do something (put drainage UNDER the concrete, maybe?) and make sure the remaining trail is elevated enough to prevent flooding.

I'll keep responding to the prompt about whether I want to close this issue with the same statement: the issue of a portion of the walking path being completely blocked by water (water deep enough to come over the top of a walking shoe) WHENEVER it rains remains completely unaddressed.

Though I haven't checked on the boat ramp yet, THANK YOU to the Parks Department for fixing (we think) the puddle on the walking path. Though we haven't had significant rain for a while, it seems - at least - better. There are issues on the NEW path (across the bridge), but we'll hold off on a new report for that until we get real rain.
