Most days, there are four or more large blue recycling bins in and lining the crosswalk at Spring St.and Witherspoon St. Thes bins, combined with the adjacent concrete block and street signs, make it very difficult for drivers going down the hill on Witherspoon St. to see pedestrians in the crosswalk. Pease address this safety issue by making sure the recycling bins are removed from the crosswalk and 1) not put back in the crosswalk and 2) not put put in a location that prevents drivers from seeing pedestrians.

Broken glass from one or more beer bottles is littering the ground in the public, outdoor seating area on Witherspoon Street across from the A & B. The broken glass has also been there for at least two weeks. These pictures were taken on October 7, and the broken glass is still there today on October 21. What is the municipality's plan for keeping this public area clean and safe? In addition to this broken glass, trash and other debris has been a common sight in this public area for many months.

A group of 6-8 kids was playing basketball on the court behind Community Park School this afternoon from at least 2:00 - 3:00 pm. They shouldn't be playing in light of COVID-19 social distancing requirements. Please check on this location now and in the future to ensure we're all doing our part to flatten the curve, promote public health, and save lives.

There has been a Zagster bike sitting at this corner, unmoved, for several months. Could the municipality retrieve and return it to a Zagster bike rack location? Thank you.

There's a brick missing and a hole down to whatever's under the street at the Nassau St and Witherspoon St intersection. It was wide open for anyone to step in this morning at 8:45 am; later I saw a cone over it. Time to fix it so no one gets hurt?
  • 1003 Mercer Rd Princeton, New Jersey - Princeton

For long time, there has been an overgrown bush blocking the bike lane at around 1003 Mercer Rd (southbound). This makes the bike lane impassable at this spot, forcing bikes into the main car travel lane, which is a public safety hazard (at all times, but particularly during commuting hours when I and others are commuting by bike), as Mercer Rd. typically has cars going 45-55 mph and taking up the whole travel lane.

The dedicated car lane and bike lane along this stretch of Mercer Rd. are great, allowing room for cars and bikes, but when the bike lane is blocked, it's an issue.

Is it the municipality's or county's (or a homeowner's) responsibility to make sure the road is passable?

A trim and fix to make the bike lane passable is appreciated - thanks!
