Parks / Greenways ArchivéRaleigh North Carolina - East RaleighPlaceholder for lots of mud on the path. thank you to the city for keeping our Greenways looking nice. Is there anything you can do over the long term to try to keep the mud from washing onto the green way, because it becomes very slick when it rains. Thank you very much

Parks / Greenways Archivé3037 Milburnie Raleigh North Carolina - East RaleighCyclists beware on the Crabtree Creek greenway between Raleigh Blvd and Milburnie Rd. Thin layer of mud on the greenway going into turns. More than one cyclist crashed today. Is there anything the city can do to remove the sediment from the two sections (see attached image of map)? It appears a lot of sediment was already removed from recent floods.

300-398 East Franklin Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Blount Corridor
As the Person Street Business district and Oakdale Neighborhood continues to thrive we are requiring some additional no parking signs to remind folks to not park too close to intersections to make it safe for others turning on narrow streets with limited line of sight.
1. Person Street and East Franklin St Intersection. At times, it can be dangerous making a right hand turn onto East Franklin from N Person Street heading east bound when a vehicle parks to close to the intersection.
2. Holden Street and Bloodworth. Heading west bound on Holden Street, it can be hard to make a right or left hand turn onto Bloodworth with vehicles parked on either side near the T-bone intersection.
Several of the intersection in this same exact business district or neighborhood district have existing no parking signs near intersections, but these couple spots appear to be missing.
Please see diagram.

Signals / Signs Archivé730 North Blount Street Raleigh, NC 27604, USA - Blount Corridor
Drivers often stop at the crosswalk thinking this is a 4 way stop sign. Good for traffic calming, but creates a near accident situation with other race drivers. What can we do to improve?

What do you think about adopting two bus shelters in our community?
1) Bus Stop ~900 Block of North Blount Street:
See Map: http://screencast.com/t/sasujFXrfX
2) Bus Shelter ~1000 N Blount St
See Map: http://screencast.com/t/CUiaG6twghep
Adoption requires maintaining the shelter... Mordecai Community volunteers can assist in removing trash in and around the shelter area on a monthly basis. City of Raleigh staff will provide adopters with trash bags, disposable gloves and safety vests to assist in the trash removal around adopted shelters. These volunteers also are asked to notify City of Raleigh staff of any special maintenance needs and report vandalism or suspicious activity.
We need your help to make this happen. If we can get +24 people interested, then we can spread the work out over the 12 month adoption agreement.
Cool factor: Take care of our community. Support the city and public transportation. The community name (Mordecai CAC) will be posted on the bus shelter for one year!
