This is an ongoing problem
Overnight last night, a brown dresser and a black cabinet.were dumped in this empty field area. There is also broken glass next to these items.
Again I would like to ask that they be picked up ASAP before someone adds to the pile again.

I have reported this to Livable Cities before. Things have gotten worse instead of better. Split rail fence made out of trees cut down from the property look terrible. Garage/barn which is falling down now has rope tied to tree over barn holding tarp which is covering the exposed roof
Take note of the houses from 90 Springside to 146 Springside and note we take pride in our properties and this house on 59 Hard is taking the neighborhood down
PLEASE INVESTIGATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THIS IS RIDICUOLOUS THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO KEEP THEIR PROPERTY IN THIS CONDITION

This is my THIRD report on the same issue. The pile keeps growing on both sides of the street. On 146 Springside side of the street, FOUR TIRES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE PILE OF BLACK PLASTIC BAGS AND COUCHES.
On the opposite side of the street where the parks department has cut the grass, the couch which was in the high grass is still there with large pieces of wood.
IT IS JUST ENCOURAGING MORE DUMPING THE LONGER IT TAKES THE CITY TO PICK UP THAT WHICH HAS BEEN REPORTED TIME AFTER TIME, WEEK AFTER WEEK. CHANNEL 3 WFSB HAS ALREADY BEEN IN ON THIS STORY ONCE.

Again thete has been illegal dumping kust past 146 Springside on the right hand side of the road heading toward Common Ground High School
A couch and/or matress has been dumped again. The grass needs be cut there as it hides the illegal dumping.

Again. A new week. Last week prior to the snowstorm I reported 4 large white mattresses dumped in this empty area. 3 weeks in a row I reported dumping. They are under the snow. Today someone has dumped FOUR MORE QUEEN SIZE MATTRESSES.

WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO STOP THIS ILLEGAL DUMPING?

Four weeks in a row. This time 4 large mattresses dumped in the field. Tried to download picture and it didn't work.
I want to thank the city for picking up prior dumping but something has to be done. I would be naïve to think that a sign would stop it but it can't hurt.

This is the third week in a row I have had to report New Dumping. This time two broken tables, storage unit and black plastic bag. Something has to be done. I would like to work with the city to see what can be done quickly. Big lot after 146 Springside.

Just around the corner of Blake and Valley in the parking lot on Valley across from the Blake Street Center there is tractor trailer truck tire that has been dumped. There has been a tractor trailer that has been left parked there on occasion usually on the weekends over the past 2 to three months. Parking there is one thing which I am not even sure is legal, but changing a tire and the dumping it there is another. Last week there were two black trash bags dumped there.

This happens every weekday. I am literally a prisoner on my own driveway. SCSU has just dismissed as has Common Ground High School. Traffic is backed up Springside from the traffic light on Blake Street. The line of cars and school busses is backed up past 146 Springside Avenue at the moment. Cars are jumping out of line to SPEED DOWN HARD STREET TO STONE STREET TO BLAKE TO AVOID THE LIGHT. HARD STREET IS ONE WAY. THESE CARS ARE GOING DOWN AGAINST THE ONE WAY SIGN AND THERE IS GOING TO BE A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT VERY SOON. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT BY CARS GOING THE WRONG WAY.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE COMPLAINED BEFORE ABOUT THE TIMING OF THE LIGHT AT BLAKE AND SPRINGSIDE. IT ONLY ALLOWS 3 OR 4 CARS TO COME OUT OF SPRINGSIDE BEFORE IT CHANGES TO LET TRAFFIC GO DOWN BLAKE STREET FROM SCSU TOWARD VALLEY STREET.
IT IS JUST AS BAD AT VALLEY AND BLAKE AS CARS GOING FROM BLAKE TO WHALLEY BLOCK THE BOX WHEN THE LIGHT CHANGES AND THE CARS TURNING FROM VALLEY TO BLAKE ARE BLOCKED FROM TURNING THE CORNER. THE OTHER DAY I SAT THROUGH THREE LIGHTS AND SAW TWO CARS ILLEGALLY PAA THE ENTIRE LINE AND DRIVE RECKLESSLY INTO THE INTERSECTION.
SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT OR KILLED.
IT IS TIME TO TAKE CARE OF THE RESIDENTS IN THIS AREA FIRST AND PUT SCSU SECOND.
