This bed or couch frame was in a dumpster next to our Lake Palms dumpster. Sanitation attempted to load it in the truck on Wednesday. I witnessed a prolonged effort for this item to be crushed. Later that day I saw the same item dumped in front of our building. I moved it out of the driveway on Burlington. If the sanitation workers have a problem with what is in the dumpster they should get assistance. To pull around to the front of our building and throw it off the truck is not appropriate. It was not even our dumpster.

Bougainvillea plants on the north side of Roser Park Drive between 6th and 4th streets have grown over and obstruct the side walk. If they did not have thorns it would be less of an issue.

Vacant lot on the northeast corner of MLKJ Street and 6th Ave, South.
Trash along sidewalk and overgrowth of palms and weeds along 6th Ave south. I personally picked up 4 grocery bags of trash on Sunday morning . I love walking and try to pick up trash in route but this area needs special attention.

This palm tree sits right next to the alley and right below a Duke transformer. Several weeks ago a truck going down the alley became tangled in some of the lines coming off the transformer which were wrapped around this palm. The result was an electrical fire. Duke could have removed the palm but instead just cleaned up the lines and trimmed the tree. I believe the tree needs to go.

Wednesday a large group of people gathered for a meal at Mirror Lake. After the event there was a quantity of trash all around the trash can near 6th street. If the recipients of this kindness cannot or will not pick up after themselves, perhaps the providers need to hang out for clean up.
