I would like to report two issues that occur daily on Dove Street:

* Heavy trucks disobey the prohibition sign at the beginning of the street, at the intersection with Washington Ave.

* Due to the potholes on the street (among other things caused by the weight of these trucks), our over 130 years old historic houses shake every time one of these trucks passes over them.

One day there will be a tragedy if the City doesn’t remedy this. Please monitor the presence, size, and speed of trucks on Dove Street and repair the potholes, especially the one located in front of 47 Dove Street, which is getting pretty big.

Trash pick up is Tuesday am, why do these people from 96 to 100 Chestnut St keep leaving trash all over the sidewalks several days in advance? DO SOMETHING!

It's Tuesday (trash pick up was a few hours ago) and AGAIN there is trash in front of 96-98 Chestnut St. Fine the owners, we're sick of seeing their trash every single day!

41 Dove St buildings on its side facing Chestnut St has crumbling bricks on near the roof that are falling on to the public sidewalk.

There is a bunch of trash all over the sidewalk adjacent to the apartment building on Dove and Chestnut. It's Wednesday morning (trash pick up is on Tuesday morning) and this is not the first time this happens. Please, contact the owner.

How many more weeks do we have to wait for this sidewalk to be filled in? Care more about pedestrians!

Time for a haircut, right? The overgrown bush is occupying half of the sidewalk.

Are the people who did this leaving the concrete like this or will they replace it with asphalt sometime soon?

I'm sure that sooner rather than later a driver is going to run over a pedestrian at this crosswalk on South Swan. And sadly, the people in charge of traffic safety probably won't understand why. This crosswalk is in between a residential neighborhood, multiple offices, a childcare center, etc., and still, drivers continuously run through it without giving a d*mn about pedestrians. This street is way too wide (encouraging speed) and there is no sign that says Yield/Stop for Pedestrians by State Law.

What about adding a speed bump and/or some plants in the middle of the road to make it feel narrower and make drivers go slower?

How long will we have to wait until something tragic happens?

Is this a war zone? Who is responsible for maintaining this road? The State? The City?

If this is happening in downtown, imagine other parts of Albany.

This is shameful.

Is this really a crosswalk?!? (Dove and Hamilton)

Nice new lines to make the car lanes more clear, BUT... how about a much needed crosswalk? Is it in the plans?

The floor of the bay window located on 303 State Street is falling apart and it is dangerous for pedestrians.

This property at the intersection of Dove and Chestnut has two broken windows. It is unsafe and makes the neighborhood look bad.

Big cracks. Risk of collapse. (126 Clinton Ave.)
