Waterline repair was made several weeks ago and this pile of dirt and barricades have been removed from the street. Please finish the job!

Concrete surrounding a sewer manhole cover in the middle of the road is deteriorated and has exposed rebar that vehicles drive over.

This is at the NW corner of Overlook Drive NE and Chancellor St. NE, at the tip of the Lutheran Church of the Cross property.

The storm drain is about 30% filled with concrete, presumably left by a concrete pumper cleaning out his/her equipment. The storm drain needs to be cleared of this obstruction.

The alley is overgrown with tree limbs hanging down and make it impossible for any other than a small car to use without contacting the vegetation in the alley between 16th Street and Iris Street, and 40th and 41st Ave. N

No Fishing sign/post has been pulled out of the ground and is laying beside the hole where it was installed.

The potholes were acknowledged by SeeClickFix 7 months ago and I was told it could take 6 months to correct. The potholes are still there and worse than they were 7 months ago! Potholes don't fix themselves!

The whole south end of Illinois Ave. NE was missed by the scheduled recycling pick-up yesterday. When will the recycling truck be out here to empty the recycle containers? It seems that most/every other street was collected and our end of the street got missed.

There are potholes at the entrance to the alley just south of 4075 16th St. This was reported on Nov. 1st. I sent a SeeClickFix a couple of weeks ago. Why does it take so long to shovel a few scoops of limestone into the potholes??

Not sure who owns this. The box cover is about 3 Ft x 4 Ft. The cover is at ground level and the box appears to be about a foot into the ground. It is at the southwest corner of Overlook Drive NE and Grand Canal Blvd NE.; about 15 feet from the fire hydrant. Someone is going to break a leg if they step into it.

Update from Engineering: Thank you for your post. As you know, Duke Energy is currently in the process of converting all their street lights to higher efficiency LED technology. The conversion project started in June 2018 and is on track to be completed sometime in the summer of 2020.

Some of Duke’s original incandescent streetlights had custom shields before they were converted to LED, and we are working with Duke to identify those lights so that the new LED versions can again be shielded.

Additionally, some of Duke’s newly converted LED lights need to be focused or redirected from spreading onto neighboring properties, and again we are working with Duke to identify those lights so that modified equipment can be ordered, manufactured, and installed. This process takes time, at least 4 to 6 weeks in some cases. We have made note of your location and your request and will include it with the others that we are relaying to Duke.

If you haven't already, please comment back with the pole number or any other identifying description that can help Duke more easily locate the light being reported.

We appreciate your help and your patience as we work with Duke Energy to improve the lighting throughout our city. Thank you again for your post.

Your request for review of the newly installed LED street light has been forwarded to me for response. It is very helpful if you could provide me with the Pole number (silver plate, usually start with a letter and is 5-6 digits) and/or exact location (across street from your property, alley, etc).

A field check will be conducted on the site and I will update you regarding the status. As stated in the SeeClickFix response to you, if a shield is warranted, it may take 4-6 weeks for installation as they are fabricated for each site.

The field check was conducted and found the street light to be within compliance and design. Due to the light intrusion to your property, a shield will be requested for the light on Iowa. This process may take 4 weeks for fabrication and installation. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I live on Illinois Ave and see this light from my back yard. A new LED fixture was installed and it needs a shield or to be tilted downward. The light destroys any night vision. It looks like an airliners' landing lights!

This is not a pothole; the pavement is still intact. it has been repaired numerous times by the city. It always comes back. It is a major depression, right at the STOP sign near the property at the SE corner of Overlook Drive and Grand Canal Blvd. Please fix it, once and for all, so that it does not come back. It was last "fixed" a couple of years ago (I think) but has been needing repair again, for a long time.
