35 years we've attended St Thomas Aquinas Church on Rucker Rd. 2019 saw City of Alpharetta & City of Roswell agree to up grade Rucker Road splitting the cost. physical construction's responsibility shared equally with each city contracting for the work to be done. Alpharetta completed their portion at the speed of light. Right now the Roswell portion looks like an A-10 Wart Hog did a strafing run down the street from 140 to the bridge with it's 20 MM gatling gun full open. hundreds of people are going to be going to services off Rucker for 3 churches plus home owners for Thanks Giving, Christmas and New Years. Searously, drive the street. What ever contractor your using fire them. They leave the entire street a junked up mess. get them in, clean up both sides of the street. Make it presentable for Roswell Investors and their families coming in for the holidays. Barrels everywhere some standing some on their sides. Crap everywhere. For weeks now the area shows no sign of progress. Dennis FitzGerald City of Roswell Investor 38 years.

For months now we have been submitting a dangerous situtation at this intersection. traveling south on Dogwood as you approach the left turn lane the signal will not recognize a car is there unless you pull one car length over the white stop line. Last reply said it would get a new strip in the road bed behind the white line within 2 weeks. it's been more than a month now with no action on City of Roswell Transportation. there is going to be a severe accident here unless you fix it. I witness daily left hand turners anticipating a left turn arrow when the light changes they move forward turning left almost getting hit by the oncoming traffic that received a green light. lots of hornes and gestures indicating the left Turner is #1. Please, once and for all fix this now going on 6 months dangerous intersection.

in front of 9350 Martin's lake Dr a street lamp has a mind of it's own. pull into driveway, light goes off. it's suppose to stay on at night, it does sometime, most of the time it's off. very frustrating and dangerous. please have it inspected. Dennis FitzGerald, Al Filsouf, next door neighbor.

This is really simple. You've addressed it several times before. Squirrels, Old wiring etc as excuses. Trust me it's simple. When you repaved this intersection and restriped you put the stop white line in the wrong location. Every time O stop on the white line = NO LEFT TURN SIGNAL. 100% of the time I pull ahead 3/4 to a full car length = Trafgic coming down Dogwood get a left turn protected signal. Go there, notice Riverside has an island that directs right turners going up Dogwood and left turners staying on Riverside. It's impossible to interact with a car that has pulled forward of the existing stop line unless you drive over the island. Doubtful it will ever happen unless there's an accident which will occure unless you fix the left turn signal off Dogwood on to Riverside East. What do we have to do to convince you were right and your wrong in the placement of the stop line. You burried the strip in the street by the white line. You can barely see the imbeded strip ahead of the white line. I imagine it's expensive to reset the strip as compared to relocating the white stripe 1 car length ahead. Dennis FitzGerald - using this intersection for 35 years. Trust me, I know what's wrong and there's going to be a fatal accident if you don't fix this ASAP.
  • 140 Vickery Ln Roswell, GA, 30075, USA - Roswell
I have called in to City of Roswell transportation dept leaving messages about this DANGEROUS intersection at Riverside Rd and Dogwood for South bound drivers turning left with zero results. I use the intersection several times a day and have observed numerous near collisions. Dogwood and Riverside going up to hwy 9 was repaived early 2019. Several months went by before it was striped. A left hand Turner sees there is a left arrow signal. When the light turns they assume they'll have the right of way. However, the oncoming traffic gets a green light and comes forward. That's when the near misses and horns blare. The stripe is too far back not allowing the waiting left hand turner to activate the sensor. When I'm first in line I move ahead 3/4 car length, which does not interfere with left hand turners coming off Riverside on to Riverside because it's protected by a cement island. When the light turns I always get a left hand arrow and the on coming cars don't move. City of Roswell Transportation, it's a simple fix. Black out the existing white line, move forward 3/4 car length, paint another white line. You can see the sensor strips embedded in the street. Sooner than later will be appreciated.

5 times I've observed near accidents involving the left turn signal southbound on Dogwood, turning left on to Riverside Rd. It operates intermintantly. The sensor is not picking up cars lined up to turn left. Last night a tow truck traveling at a high rate of speed almost hit a car. Light turned green, car expected to get a left turn arrow started to go and turn left when the light changed. Close does not describe it.
  • Market Square Blvd Roswell, Georgia - Roswell
The side street that runs by the new Fire Station I think is Market Square Blvd., The Apartments have cut an exit on to the street. They have not paved it's just gravel. Now it's just MUD and it's all over the street in both directions. Clear violation of City of Roswell Regulations. They should make that a legal entrance and exit. Right now it's one lane and it's a mess. Surprised the Fire Station hasen't complained getting MUD all over their trucks.

  • 9350 Martins Lake Drive Roswell, Georgia - Roswell
Martin's Landing does not have reflective blue markers in the roadway identifying locations for Fire Hydrants. Why not? We also need verification ALL Hrdrants function by have them tested. We are now a 50 year old community of Cedar Siding homes. We have list several homes in the past year, total 100% losses due to fire.
