Description
Martin's Landing does not have reflective blue markers in the roadway identifying locations for Fire Hydrants. Why not? We also need verification ALL Hrdrants function by have them tested. We are now a 50 year old community of Cedar Siding homes. We have list several homes in the past year, total 100% losses due to fire.

Dennis,
I apologize for the delayed response, I am not sure why this has not been sent to me in the typical manor and I am looking into that. The Roswell Fire Marshal’s office has not had a blue dot marking program to locate the hydrants in over twenty years. We will not be marking the location of the fire hydrants with blue dots at this time. A few years back we installed about five hundred blue dots as a test, and due to the failure of the adhesive we stopped the testing. The hydrant bonnets are currently painted with a silver reflective type paint to help make them more visible. We will be looking into other options hopefully later this year. The hydrants in Martins Landing were tested between 12/01/17 and 12/06/17.
