When I said "please don't dump stuff here, this is private property and we live here," he said, "this a known place for leaving stuff." I told him again not to leave it and he very rudely said "OK! Stop talking!" and took his box away to the basement of the apartment building.

What makes this a dumping ground? The Cancer Society Discovery Shop is right up the block and they are happy to take these things--instead, they get abandoned here and then get dirty and unusable.
