    There is an underground storm drain that goes under our yard and under the parking lot of the Emory United Methodist Church Education bldg (3810 Church Road) that is clearly broken and stopped up. The water is spewing forth like fountains from holes in our yard along the fence line toward the back of the parking lot of the church bldg. This occurred today during the heavy thunderstorms around 5:15 PM.

    The steel plate covering the damaged storm drain grate is moving and beginning to expose the broken grate and drain. The plate was placed in response to a previously reported issue.

    The storm drain grate is below the street level so much it could damage a car or be a problem for a smaller car. The grate is along the south side of the street across from the parking lot of the Emory United Methodist Church Education Bldg.

    This storm drain looks like the asphalt is blocking the gap or the road way is so high that the drain is easily being blocked by debris that should normally go down the drain.
