I think the hurricane expected later this week is going to be a big problem.

J. Barker spoke with Ms. Wimsatt on 9/8/17. will check to see if the MISS Utility ticket cleared. To give everyone an idea of the plan for here,

1) Locate the storm drain manhole cover that is buried in the yard.
2) Open up the manhole to visually inspect the system from above, take notes and
pictures.
3) Have a contractor, video inspect the system for any defects.
Please be mindful that the County has NO EASEMENTS on this property. We do have permission via email to enter the property to investigate.
4) Once the video inspection is complete, we will communicate our findings with the customer.

J. Barker re-visited this area on 9/8/17. The only area of concern is where the two cones are. The ground is spongy & the area next to the fence has a hole that's about the size broom stick handle that goes down about a foot deep. The orange traffic cones were placed in the yard to make everyone aware of the issue.

There was a stake placed on the property a few months ago by the county indicating where the manhole cover might be located. I moved the stake to a hole that swallowed up about half of the length of the stake and the hole is located further up in the yard and closer to a garden to the rear of where the markings are for the manhole. This indicates a larger area affected by the apparent pipe collapse.

It appears somebody has now opened the cover to the storm drain. That was about a week ago. What's next? How much longer is this going to take? One step every couple of weeks is not getting the job done. This ticket is now two months old.
