This location and issue has been reported several times and closed due to being forwarded to another agency, but has yet to receive the attention that is obviously due. What appears to be a sinkhole could be caused by moving water underground, or any other reason, and is getting worse. There is no apparent "hole" below the surface, just a sunken area of roadway that is in the travel pathway of a rather busy street. There is a plastic traffic barrel that has been placed NOT by the city, but a concerned citizen to warn travelers; however, it is not sufficient to protect "we the people" from accident, injury or death. Please do not only open and accept this issue, but follow through with the ticket and close only when it is truly resolved.

Bad collapsing sink hole. Please prevent the disappearance of large cars, humans and random animals and fix this....

rapidly developing sink-hole near center of roadway, appears to extend from curb into street approximately 2.5 feet wide and 10 feet long. Surface has fallen about a foot in a day, cracked asphalt has fallen into hole, too deep to see bottom.

Storm Drain adjacent to fire hydrant not draining. This has not happened before and apparently requires attention.

Water coming out of pavement at recent patch East left lane of Hull St approaching intersection of E 4th st.

Just before Broad, on Roseneath Road, there is a dangerously deep hole in the road, with a bunch of wires running through it. Seems pretty dangerous, almost got stuck in this one!

Street light on Summit Ave at Rockbridge not working, again....

ponding on roadway x2 days, with rain in forecast, unlikely this will just go away on its own. flooding about 10 inches. location West Leigh at St James streets.

sinking road surface. Location adjacent to manhole cover in middle of intersection of Summit at Rockbridge. issue is th is location had a rather large cave - in style sink hole a couple of years back and it appears to be recurring again. No visable void or hole in the pavement; however, the pavement seems to have recently started to sink a couple of inches down from normal.

sink hole developing. small hole in surface with surface of road beginning to collapse. hole seems to be several feet deep and gets wider every day. someone put a traffic cone on top of it, but doesn't appear to have been reported yet. Middle of the intersection of Altimont and Norfolk Streets

construction workers constantly parking in the middle of the road. this is a 2-way street and with their gate already 10+ feet from curb, parking next to that fence leaves little room for cars, let alone EMS vehicles if they should need to pass through. worst is a white Ford crew-cab, VA tags, TV 1-425

Entire stretch of Rosedale has been turned into a ridiculous stretch of patches full of bumps, ruts and dips / potholes. can this be flattened / repaved in the near future? please?

pavement joint not aligned. tried to report this previously and was passed on to VDOT, who investigated and is determined that rhis location is maintained by the city. please fix this bad bump so that it won't continue to damage motorists' cars?!
