Who/what is OOT?
Brian Muldoon (Registered User)
OOT is the Howard County Office of Transportation. OOT oversees transportation planning for Howard County. Bicycle improvements and may pedestrian related projects originate with OOT. Chris Eatough, the County Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator is a Senior Manager with OOT (this includes scooters as well). Transportation demand management plans (TDMPs) fall under the purview of Allison Calkins, OOT as does ride-sharing and related.
Last but not least, fixed route transit and paratransit (RTA) as well as aspects of commuter bus services are administered and partially managed by OOT under the leadership of Bruce Gartner, Administrator, OOT.
The Harpers Farm Road, former RTA stop/current MTA commuter bus stop, is on the list of repair/maintenance projects the contractor for OOT is currently working on.
