Descrizione

Driving behavior has become very dangerous since city decreased speed from 45 to 25/35 in the Wlliamsfield/Recker quadrant. I live in Cooley Station off of Recker and Vest. Everytime I go to Fry's on Recker and Wlliamsfield I am confronted with extreme and threatening road rage from driver's not wanting to comply with reduced speed limit, it's frightening. Please reconsider the speed limits in this area.

As someone who lives in the area also, I agree that drivers get angry and unsafe driving through this zone, but I’m not sure that raising speed limits to accommodate speeding drivers is the answer.

Maybe a bit more police 👮‍♀️ presence enforcing speed limits for a while may discourage speeders

Live right behind Frys and agree there needs to be something done, maybe not raising the speed as issues getting out of Cooley Station at the Frys has become easier with lower speeds.

Its absurd that the speed limit drops so low, but those of us who choose to comply anyways are definitely subject to scary behavior from other drivers who protest the absurdly low limit by refusing to comply.

This seems to be an issue all across Gilbert. Why isn't Gilbert PD actively enforcing speed limit and aggressive driving behavior? I see so many posts here of speeding, aggressive driving, racing through neighborhood roads. This is a chronic issue. Gilbert PD, driving around is aggravating and stressful because of a lack of enforcement. Why does it seem like PD is doing nothing?
