Another sinkhole is developing a few inches from this one to the left as you view it from the fence.

Pic #1 this is the side where the sink holes are located. I do not see any obvious places where dirt is washing inside the culvert.

Too bad you can't get a shot aiming back up the culvert to see if there is anything going on upstream from the manhole. The amount of dirt from the sinkholes seems minimal and might have washed away as the water subsided at this location. Slow erosion? It will hit a breakover point sometime and really be a problem. Just hope it doesn't happen while I am mowing the lawn over that spot. I discovered the two when I mowed the last time. 8-O
Still looks like dirt at the bottom of the manhole from somewhere.

Tom, we completed a video inspection not that long ago. We just opened the manhole to see if there were any obvious changes. Jim B. 8/27/2020.

There is no maintenance work to be done by Highways. This has been turned over to Marshall D. in Engineering. Closing this work order out for Highways. Jim B.
