THANK YOU for doing this!! I, too, have called endless times both Riverdale and Hyattsville and each have told me it's the other town's responsibility. I try to control the overgrowth as much as I can with the weedwhacker and my hands. I'm 4418 Oliver Street. Not sure who but people are throwing Concrete, Boards, etc behind our fence. I already paid to have stuff picked up when we first moved here in 2016. but it's getting ridiculous.

I second my neighbor, Mr. Siperly's comment. There are frequently broken bottles and trash to the point of the area being a hazard. Our neighbors behind us have also contacted the city of Riverdale regarding this issue.

I third the comments. The broken glass lying in the overgrowth make it hazardous for children and pets. This has been an issue since we moved here in 2006. Frustratingly, neither city wants to take responsibility.

The back of my property is also on the alley. I agree with my neighbors on the problem of the trash. There is also the once a year attempt to maintain the vegetation overgrowth but it should be done twice a year. The weeds have invaded every property along the alley and maintenance of the brush is overwhelming especially this time of year.

I agree that this is a hazard and appreciate the efforts of my neighbors trying to get this fixed. The amount of broken glass is extremely dangerous.

Public Works has done an initial cleanup of the area, and the City's mowing contractor will begin maintaining the area as well to keep the alleyway in good condition. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
